After working in the health care industry for 19 years, Mahnaz Shabbir decided to form her own organization. This new organization, Shabbir Advisors, provides assistance to health care organizations that are looking for senior level assistance in the areas of strategic planning, market plans, business development and market research.

Shabbir Advisors celebrated our first year in business in September 2004.  In June 2005, we were the Johnson County Business of the Month recognized by the Johnson County Business Ledger. In October, we were recognized as a nominee at the annual awards luncheon in the category of Minority Professional Firm of the Year by the Minority Enterprise Development (established in 1983 by the U.S. Department of Commerce's Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) in collaboration with the U.S. Small Business Administration's (SBA) Office of Government Contracting and Business Development).
